Indie rock band Human Noise come to the Con for a special one-off concert. The members of Human Noise are heavily involved in the Australian music scene, and have spent time touring and recording with other acts including Julia Jacklin, Dan Sultan, Middle Kids, and CLEWS.
Human Noise will be celebrating the release of Glitching Colour with a national tour through June and July, presented by Philter Brewing and Heaps Normal.

While Emma’s voice and style are unique, and individually her own, her performances are reminiscent of the classic era of jazz, when swing was top of the charts. Her talent was first spotted by internationally renowned Jazz great James Morrison, when she was just 16 years old.
She joined his band as the lead vocalist at 16, and went on to spend a solid 20 years touring the world with Morrison.

The audience listens in as three First Nations singers have a conversation. Someone’s story may remind someone else of a song, or a favourite popular song might start a discussion among them all. Each conversation and each performance will be unique, as the women explore live on stage how their songs preserve the social, cultural, or environmental shifts of a community, and deepen connections to country, genealogy, and custom. Presented in association with Musica Viva and the Grafton Jacaranda Festival.

Hailed as “a born communicator” (The Australian), award-winning pianist, Alex Raineri has toured extensively both nationally and internationally. With a touring profile in 2024 that includes performances throughout the USA, UK, Ireland, Finland, and the Netherlands, Alex will include NSW’s Northern Rivers and New England regions this November.
A performer in high demand, Raineri has appeared as a feature artist in many major festivals and venues within Australia. As a concerto soloist he has appeared with the Queensland, Tasmanian, Darwin and West Australian Symphony Orchestras, Orchestra Victoria, and others. Raineri also serves as Artistic Director of the annual Brisbane Music Festival and Brisbane’s inner-city music venue, FourthWall Arts. Presented in association with Music in the Regions.
